The 2018 Exhibition was a great success. Starting with Opening Night, where Michael Reagan, Mayor of Northern Beaches Council, kindly opened the exhibition and presented the prizes to our worthy winners. The evening saw about 70 people enjoy the presentation, as well as all the delightful paintings, while indulging in nibbles & bubbles. The success of the exhibition goes to all our artists, as well as our hard-working committee, ably assisted by the very diligent Violeta Dineva, to whom the committee is very grateful. This year we were able to offer even more prizes, thanks to our very generous sponsors.
Our Judges this year were Mike Golding – illustrator, painter and educator; and Janine Wiess – representing Northern Beaches Council. The raffle painting was generously donated by June Rodden, President, Northern Beaches Art Society.
Our Featured Artist, Violeta Dineva, had a wonderful display of her beautiful work, which was much admired. Once again our exhibition inspired a number of visitors to take up membership of the society. We look forward to seeing their work in next year’s exhibition.
