75TH ANNUAL AWARDS ART EXHIBITION 2021

From 2 to 14th March the Northern Beaches Art Society Inc. will be holding their 75th Annual Awards Art Exhibition and Sale at the Creative Space, North Curl Curl. Exhibiting Members of the art society will be vying for 3 major awards. This year 1st Prize will be sponsored by the Northern Beaches Council. While they will be holding an official Opening Night, where the Mayor, Michael Reagan, will open the exhibition and present the awards, due to Covid restrictions, attendance will be by invitation only.
Works on display will be in a variety of mediums and styles in oils, watercolours, acrylics, and pastels as well as drawings covering a multitude of subjects such as landscapes, seascapes, abstracts, semi-abstracts, still life, animals and birds.
Entry to the exhibition is FREE and will open every day, starting at 9am on Tuesday 2 March and closing at 5pm on Sunday 14 March. From 2pm Sunday 7 March, enjoy an interesting Artist Talk, with a glass of wine. All the paintings will be for sale and all sold paintings can be collected after 3pm on Sunday 14 March, 2021.
A Covid-19 Marshall will be there to make sure everyone checks in and adheres to social distancing. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to vote for their favourite painting by voting online, using a special QR code, which will be on display in various places around the exhibition.
